      Closing this thread for now.

Indeed this is a software discussion and support forum, not a grammar gatekeeping team.

"Your body is made of clocks" is just not true. It may have rhythms but they are part of many other systems. Is my hair a clock? Is my tongue a clock? Etc.

So I've tried probably everything. I changed the GammaRamp setting, deleted it, reinput it into the registry editor. I've tried turning on my laptop off and on in multiple ways, with and without the dock connected or monitors turned on/off.

I had it working before, but I don't know how I got it working.... ugh

Lenovo is also what was causing the problem for me. Here's a more explicit guide on correcting it.

There are a few different things that could cause this. I'm no expert, but I spent quite a bit of time researching this issue for my own computer. Here's what I found.

It could be caused by another program absorbing the f.lux color profile. See the troubleshooting section in their FAQ for more info.
      https://justgetflux.com/faq.html

Windows 10 has its own tinting software called night light, if you're using Windows 10 I recommend you check that.

Lenovo preinstalls software onto their machines that can cause this issue (this was the issue for me) here's a guide to correct it.

      I don't doubt there's more, but that's what I'm aware of.

@usedtobeafan I have a LENOVO laptop, and this fixed my issue definitely.

It works not only for Snagit, but also for Snipping tool....

I did first look at this solution, but it didn't help me:

Hi can you try 4.111 also? If you post driver info from there it will give more information, and it might fix your problem also.

Thanks - we will add it to the list. Honestly we are always looking for more hotkeys, and ones that don't conflict with other apps are kind of hard to find!

We can add some more desaturate options.

18932 seems to be the July 3 insider build (so it's 3mo old if I've got it right?) Are you seeing this on newer ones like 18970?

You can make the screen more warm during the day using the "daytime" slider.

However, staying the same really is not what we're trying to do with f.lux. We think lights should change from day to night, it's the signal our bodies and eyes need to tell day from night.
