      More info is at https://fluxometer.com/rainbow/

The screenshots do show scale as uW/cm^2/nm (spectral irradiance) in the top corner, but for spiky spectra that is not the most useful number.

We might be more interested in the total irradiance for each photoreceptor, which you can find in the "non-visual" tab on our site. It shows the "equivalent illuminant E" irradiance, as well as total power.

Our models and sources are on the pages too.

We are talking to the Sparkle team about this (they make our updater).

Notifiers are one option, but it is pretty easy to turn off entirely. Another option is to check for updates only at restart, but in some cases, we'd like to be able to fix issues before you install a new OS version, so for now we do a daily check.

Set all three to the same. You can fake your Location and wake-up time to configure bedtime and sunrise or sunset. I have all 3 modes set to the same color temperature.

Do you also reduce your monitor's brightness?

      Same here... nVidia 770m
Update: started working fine for me as soon as I connected one more screen (which I was planning to do anyway)...
Update 2: for some weird reason it works fine without second display BUT only when it is evening! I tried to change couple of settings but nothing worked when it is morning/afternoon...

      Nah, no travel router.
I hit 'enter' on New York one more time and now the location view popped up and I was able to confirm that I am in New York.

So now the screen lightning is correct, but I still have a double-curve (I mean thats just an app visual thing, when one looks at the flux representation of daylight).

Hmmm, I'm writing to you from a nearly identical machine. Anything else we should know? Why do you think f.lux is what's causing the battery drain?

No, I wasn't prompted for a new location. The location was in fact off, however, by c. 10 degrees of latitude – I'm at 48.88 and it put me at 38.something – so I hit location and it now has me at more or less right. But that has not changed the sunset time.

I'm using an iMac (late 2013) with OS Sierra 10.12.4.
I have tried turning Automatic Brightness on and off - makes no difference.
NightShift is not active and I have no other screen dimming apps on the computer.
