Yes we have a new version that is noting recommended sleep timing by age, but we need to put the UI back in for it.

This is not happening since yesterday morning - I installed Onyx and gfx.io and now it seems better. Now I think it was not used to f.lux but to other factors:

overheating leaving my computer sleeping instead of shutting it down when I'm finish...

Maybe you have a "f.lux profile" if f.lux was force quit.

Again, it's a bug in macOS, and because we're not running we cannot fix it.

The fix is to reboot or to turn off automatic brightness.

Well, you didn't really say very much at all in your original post. Sorry. If you had explained everything like you just did, then I wouldn't have replied because then I would have known that I don't know what the answer is. Judging from your original post though (and only your original post), it sounds like normal results from f.lux doing its thing. Judging from your reply here, yes, I can see what you're saying now but you didn't say anything like this in your original post.

I could only go by what you said.
