Smart lamps are certainly a very cool solution for those who want to diversify the appearance of their home at least a little. In addition, it is incredibly convenient, because they have a remote voice control that allows you to turn off and turn on the light, as well as change the color scheme of your light bulb. For example, I purchased my lamps for home using the website https://www.vont.com/product/vont-bulb-color-smart-light-bulbs-smart-bulbs /, now I am sure that my living room and the bedroom in which I installed them look cool

I see that the lifx lights support is still green, but it's a start!

It would be interesting to be able to discover the available lights although it is not necessary.
But it would be very nice to be able to decide to affect only some of the lights by name and not all as it happens now or even to indicate their group and how we want the effect of temperature control of the lights if instead of changing directly we want something softer using a scene that makes the transition over a longer period of time from one tone to another automatically and smoother, so f.lux would only have to launch a broadcast only once to the bulbs every day to have a perfect transition every time.

@Just1M This has sadly been a feature request for a looooooooooooooong time. I posted something similar over a year ago in this forum, still nothing. Somehow I think they've either stopped working on it or don't feel like adding it. It's why I stopped using f.lux and just went with the built in Windows 10 night light, was just simpler and since the main feature I wanted doesn't exist anyway I decided to ditch the extra software.

There are two models: "White ambiance" and "white and color"

White ambiance supports 2200K-6500K natively - f.lux will use dimming below 2200K. White and color support 2000K-6500K natively - f.lux will emulate warmer colors on these models using the color capabilities, so usefully 1200K-6500K works.

Both models achieve their peak melanopic value somewhere below 6500K so we do not go to efforts to make them more blue than this - i.e. we could do it with the "color" models but they would get a lot dimmer, so we did not do it yet.

This is an option right below the Hue setting called "Allow f.lux to keep this computer awake to adjust lights." You are welcome to turn it off, but it won't work as well.

Also, we do this only when the computer is plugged in (or has a nearly-full battery).

So i finally bought the smart lights and can answer my own question:
No, the Alt+PgDn & Alt+PgUp shortcuts don't adjust the brightness.

Philips Hue has some features that can do this on a button press:
      https://www.techhive.com/article/3628232/how-to-set-a-light-timer-using-the-new-philips-hue-app.html

You might be able to script these to start when the power comes on too.

For Professional Edition, display customization is a user-specific setting. There is no way for an administrator to turn tabs on or off for all users at once.
