Monitor buying Guide Needed for Eye-Care
-
Hi guys, day by day my eyes glasses no are increasing, also continuously seeing 2-3 hours on monitor starting pain and itching on my eyes.
Recently I'm using LG 24 Inch IPS but some problems come on my monitor like screen jumping, red lines on bottom.
Now I decided to buy a new monitor under 22 inch IPS/VA Panel. I have seen some monitors have features like Eye-Care, Low blue light & TÜV Rheinland certification. All Benq monitor comes with TÜV Rheinland certified. Does those features really protect eyes or it's just a markting technic.
Note: Always I use Flux (blue light filter software) in my samsung monitor.
Do I need Eyecare monitor or Flux is enoughf. If you are using any Eye Protected monitor please advice me.
Thanks in advanceQuote Reply

@Yemafu the big reason to like TUV certification is that it ensures a low-flicker display, which is really helpful.
For blue light, this standard is not very effective, as it's a super tiny change in blue light, usually below 10%. You'd be better off with something that dims to a comfortable level, or adjusting your desk and the glare around it.
