Feature Request: Automatic Monitor Brightness Control
-
Hey guys,
I've recently found out about the dangers of PWM flickering and as far as I can tell, the only way to protect ourselves is to set the monitor brightness to 100% and use an external software to reduce the monitor's actual brightness.
I'm currently using F.lux alongside AMD's Radeon settings to reduce the brightness but I would love it if F.lux had an automatic brightness feature that does the same thing with brightness throughout the day as it does with color temperature.
Thoughts?

Hi,
I totally agree with BlueFlame as I'm using ScreenBright to control the brightness alongside with f.lux. This is my ultimate combo.

I am looking to rewire my home for an automated home system. Currently I am looking at loxone (though let me know if you have any other preferences). However, I would like to have my lights adjust their colour/intensity according to the circadian rhythm. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I would like it to be something that doesn't run on a raspberry pi or anything with lots of technical skill to keep up and running as I will be leaving in the hands of my 60+ year old mother when I am at university.
