Can you tell me exactly what you're seeing?

Here is what we do and why:

always adds itself to autorun on install for the current user, and removes it on uninstall users can disable autorun using "task manager > startup" should never start twice - we prevent this from happening

Also since the f.lux corporate build installs for all users on the machine, it does add a toggle to options. Any user can opt out of autorun, and f.lux will remember the setting. But we do not do this for single users because they have two ways to do it already: uninstall, or use task manager.

I think f.lux looks like an airplane cockpit in my head, but we have to take out 99% of the controls so people can use it. I wish this weren't true.

Dimming is very very important to us, so we will try to find a way to make it more visible.

Can you post f.lux options > driver info?
Also, does the new monitor use HDR mode in Windows?

@fhoech yes we reported both of them. I do need to check on the profile leak also - we went from checking for profile changes frequently to once per day (so really, if you change your profile you need to restart f.lux).

I had the same kind of problem when I got the latest Windows and Flux updates installed. Anything new on the topic? Cuz, I've been thinking my laptop gets laggy too much.

use options > use wider slider ranges, or choose "blue sky" or "civil twilight" in the extra colors menu.

So I've tried probably everything. I changed the GammaRamp setting, deleted it, reinput it into the registry editor. I've tried turning on my laptop off and on in multiple ways, with and without the dock connected or monitors turned on/off.

I had it working before, but I don't know how I got it working.... ugh
