Hi!

I am using 36.6 and do not have "sleep late on weekends checked" not "extra hours…" checked. All others are checked. No color effects are checked and no Disabled options are checked.

The location arrow, when clicked, tells me that it cannot find my location and wonders if I wi-fi is turned off.

As a matter of fact, location services is not working anywhere, and per the apple forums, this seems to be a suffering issue for many 10.11.4 users.

It did work well on 10.10.5, but since moving up, has been very very spotty at best.

My physical location is Izmir, turkey. The late 2011 MBP running 10.11.4 has my automatic time set to GMT+3 to account to DST.

@jnuneziglesias the f.lux program isn't even installed, much less running on any account, other than the one you installed it on. You'll have to install it for every user who wants it.

f.lux updates the system profile many times per day on dual-GPU macs, and it's possible that Photoshop doesn't expect this to happen and leaks memory. Sounds like quite a bit.

I'll take that as a no. Thanks for building what could easily be considered the best idea since monitor color profiles, but this is unusable. I also don't understand why the developer thought a manual setting needs to be bypassed by the software's heart beat (every few seconds the software checks if the settings are right and updates them). It really defeats the purpose of even having a UI that allows for changes. Anyways, good luck getting the kinks out!

@leeze Hmm, maybe try removing f.lux from the startup list. Then, if it's easy to add it back, try that. If that doesn't work, just exit using the menu, and send f.lux to the trash (use Finder to search, and move off all the f.lux stuff. Then reinstall.

Or just add the applications you use to watch movies to the blacklist, would probably be the easiest way. If you're watching in a browser, maybe have one (i.e if you're a Chrome user maybe Firefox or Chrome Canary) dedicated for that purpose. That way it'll always be automatic =)

Oh, after shutting down this computer, which is coupled to my MacBook Pro, the keyboard light went back on. I can't seem to do it again.

I second that. Upon initial installation I couldn't Command F2 out of my second screen. Also, after rebooting, I connected to the second screen and didn't see Flux working on it. When I Command F2 out of the second screen Flux temporarily cut off on the parent screen.
I am loving this App.

I updated my mac, and it looks like I have two flux applications on my mac. But they look the same and have the same information on them. I think in the older OS they were both open and that might of cause my problem. I will delete one of them and hopefully it work.Thank you.

We use Sparkle to check for updates once a day.
