You can make the screen more warm during the day using the "daytime" slider.

However, staying the same really is not what we're trying to do with f.lux. We think lights should change from day to night, it's the signal our bodies and eyes need to tell day from night.

Multi-monitor/TV where "disabling" does nothing. A familiar issue, I know, that has no fix I can find.

There are some fixes in 4.111 for fullscreen disable and multiple GPUs.

The latest Windows update has quite a few bugs, and we've been working around them as we find out what they are exactly.

If you click the "overflow" (up arrow) in the notifications area, you can drag f.lux out of there into the main list. Does that help?

Okay we think in the latest version (v4.110) displaylink's "gamma ramp" registry fix should now be fully supported.

I have been looking for such an option, thinking there was. However I was unable to find it. However - I just found it to be under the "disable" menu instead of general preferences. Thank you so much.

Thank you for this - we are following up and it seems like the current situation is not working for both old and new adapters at the same time.

Can you please post f.lux options > driver info?
Also please try the new build (4.108) - you can join the beta or download again from the main page.

It sounds like you might have an automatic brightness feature built into your laptop? This can be disabled through Display settings.

f.lux can be uninstalled through Add/Remove programs.

We have some data posted here, so I think you'll find that gunnar removes about 1/4 the melanopic light, similar to running f.lux at 5000K:

      https://fluxometer.com/rainbow/#!id=iPad Pro/6500K-iPad Pro&filter=filter/GUNNAR PPK

      https://fluxometer.com/rainbow/#!id=iPad Pro/5000K-iPad Pro

We recommend much stronger settings that remove 90% of the light at night.

You should definitely dim your display as much as you can.

f.lux helps adjust the display on a consistent timeline and keeps things bright enough to read, but dimming has a large effect.

Yes we should expose that as a separate parameter.

We designed this to handle lighting your "whole house" and not just the lamp near a screen, so if you have a bunch of people living together, they usually don't want to have the lights change because one person disables f.lux :)
