Update:
Had a planned reinstall of Windows today, so waited for that instead.
Monitors are without driver/profile now. It seems Flux behaves as normal again.

They're just monitor drivers. Being "old" is fine. If you don't like the drivers, then you can uninstall them, but I guarantee you that they won't do any harm because they can't. They're specifically designed for these monitors, and you'll get the results you want.

F.lux gets the name from the drivers. Check Device Manager. Go to the Display settings in Windows. You'll see "Generic PnP Monitor" there too - until you install these drivers.

I have the same problem.
I found that if I toggle the windows notification sidebar open and close it again, or minimize a browser window and maximize again, flux starts working.

I have flux set to disable on fullscreen apps, and I think it's reading the screen turn off as a full screen app for some reason. Going to test by turning off disable for full screen apps and see if the issue still occurs.

@pietroi thanks - I have a UHD 620 on the exact same driver version and windows build (with no failures of course). Presumably the driver is failing shortly after wake and then working some time later.

There were updates performed yesterday and it seems to be working now. Thank you.

I found f.lux Location search didn't work well, so I resorted to typing in my city name and that worked fine. However, I'm on a Mac.

No, it's a fresh windows installation and I'm using the system defaults only.
It seems to be called wsRGB / wscRGB. No custom settings.

HI @Abrakadabra - there is a list of hotkeys in f.lux options, and you can uncheck the box to remove them all.

One thing to check is that "surface keys" is off before you turn them off entirely.
