Screen flickering (Chrome, multiple displays)

  • Hello, I'm having an issue with screen flickering when flux is turned on and the PC is connected to 2 additional displays. Is there a way to fix it? Please see the driver info below. Thanks for any help!

  • Looks like this Windows Build is an older one (2016 or so?) and DisplayLink has added some support for gamma ramps (color controls) in the meantime, but I think it requires a slightly newer version of Windows to do it.

f.lux will try to make things work anyway using your GPU, but it is sort of our less-preferred way to run.

  • Thanks for the reply! So is there anything I could do now to change it?

  • Refer to the post here and see if this change helps:
    https://forum.justgetflux.com/topic/3629/displaylink

I don't think it will do any harm but it might require a newer Windows to work properly. If it works, you will see "gamma=1" for all three monitors.

  • Thank you! I'll check that.

  • Apparently, the DP update didn't helped, still only one display has "Gamma Ramp works =1"
