@herf it would be really awesome to be able to customize it, but I am happy with anything.
If I could customize it differently each day then it would allow me to experiment with break lengths, which I like.
@ursus If it's x86 you can run f.lux on it.
Yes this is in all versions. Check for the Disable menu (which is "for an hour" but you can of course toggle it back earlier).
On Windows you can use alt-end too.

I just signed up to request this and saw this post.
AppleScript support would allow for enabling and disabling f.lux ie. with a Harmony Remote (automation).
I'd like to have manual control over disabling and enabling the f.lux effect when watching TV/Movies at night.

@herf any news on this? I have this issue multiple times a week:
A simple "Disable until Wake up time" or "Disable until Sunset" feature would fix this.
