This one isn't our bug. So, other than sending a note to the teams who can fix it, we don't have a fix. Try Chrome maybe?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood "sleep in" (my native language in french), I see that it does exactly what I wanted! My weekend starts at Friday night and end Monday morning, the usual schedule, but I think that be able to change the schedule for people who work on Saturdays, but don't on Mondays, and other complex schedules would be nice, don't you think?

Yes probably the right idea is to detect when you're on a new wireless network (sort of a "light" version of geolocation, all local) and prompt you to do the full setup then. Then you'd only get one prompt while on the plane at least. :)

Yes, I wish it weren't in a sub-menu (we ran out of room so we did it this way).

It would be better if the checkbox were visible on the first level.

Also, we thought about making the notifier stick around for a lot longer time (like 2 minutes) but that just got annoying.

In case others have had the same problem, the solution lies in the 'Sharpness' control provided in my monitor, which, it turns out, is effectively a contrast control. The default setting for this is 50%, but I recently raised it to 100%. I have now found that reducing it to 70% to all intents and purposes removes the 'backlighting' effect in Flux.

Using the tests at http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ confirms this. But it seems that 50% (the default setting) is the setting without artificial contrast-enhancement, and that is what I have now set my display to. With this setting, Flux is back to its excellent and comfortable self.

I have a 2015 27 inch Imac 5K retina. My computer does not wake from longer sleeps and I need to unplug the powercord to restart it. I have run a sysdiagnose and can supply it for quick analysis.

Interesting observation: if i set the resolution of the external display to 720p, the blue edges are gone. Not a solution to use it @720p but might be useful info for debugging it.

I didn't know Macbook had this!
Turning off the automatic brightness option in the screen settings fixed it!

@herf I'm new to F.lux and find the tabs very understandable. I wish there were also the ability to add/delete/import/export (and reset to default) new color options in the pull down menu.

I've only used F.lux a short time, and I 've been falling asleep faster since I started using it. I don't know if it's the plaebo effect, but something is working. So I applaud the F.lux team for the this invaluable control panel.

I just signed up to request this and saw this post.

AppleScript support would allow for enabling and disabling f.lux ie. with a Harmony Remote (automation).

I'd like to have manual control over disabling and enabling the f.lux effect when watching TV/Movies at night.

The issue with flickering when wake up the machine from Stand-by - issue still persists in even in the latest update.
