It's not the flipping that is the issue. I would like to continue using my surface book (and rotating it) without the screen flicker.

Can you see if there is an icon in the tray next to your system clock?

Usually this means it is using a "basic" driver and you need to update it to use a "real" driver - and everything else will get faster too, when you do.

This is a really really old driver, btw - I might try to update it first.

But I will say the f.lux benchmark is not nearly that good on the newer drivers...(I miss 2011 apparently)

I was thinking of the feature as "up late" but I will now also think about it as "woke up early" - what you describe should probably be the way it works.

We usually don't try to adjust the mouse - it is usually up to the GPU.

Yes, and I understand that it probably would not be able to differentiate between full screen on YouTube or any other full-screen media on another website but that is fine in my books.
