Mac Mini M2 I noticed the same thing on my 24" HP monitor. The screen sort of brightens then back to normal ... back and forth at random times.
@Spliff yes they did flip the order of operations on the M1 machines. We handle this properly when we do our own inversion (like "darkroom") but we can't see the system one is turned on. Maybe we could add our own invert in the future...
@atmnz be sure to turn on f.lux options > expanded daytime settings and then you can adjust your daytime settings to suit. Also perhaps dimming more can help?
@summer Hi summer - the best answer is to update Monterey to a more recent build. The very early Monterey builds had this bug, and we provided a workaround for a short time before it was fixed by Apple (but I don't recommend this if you can update).
@lorna
USING MACOS VENTURA M1 - 16".
IT DOES KEEP HAPPENING TO ME;
IT'S LIKE F.LUX DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S F.S. OR NOT.
AND APPS DO NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST OF RECOGNIZED.
ON WINDOWS YOUTUBE GOING FULLSCREEN IS CONSIDERED AN APP THAT'S FULLSCREEN, NOT "CHROME". I'D LIKE THAT.
@Lorita f.lux has a feature to disable for certain apps. So while you're running Chrome check the f.lux "Disable" menu to see if that's what is going on.
