    MAC Yosemite - Flux settings does not open and cannot uninstall-always running

      MAC Yosemite - FLUX settings does not appear and cannot uninstall as the program is always running - I need help either to fix this or remove the program if it is not compatible with MAC Yosemite, please.....

        F.LUX, I HAVE NOT HEARD A RESPONSE FROM YOU ON THIS DOWNLOAD. ON MY MAC, VERSION, YOSEMITE. THE SETTINGS MENU DOES NOT APPEAR WHEN I CLICK ON THE ICON. IN FINDER, I'VE TRIED TO DELETE THE PROGRAM BUT IT WILL NOT DELETE IT AS IT SAYS THE PROGRAM IS RUNNING. I CANNOT GET TO THE SETTINGS MENU TO TURN IT OFF. I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE ASSISTANCE ON THIS ISSUE PLEASE.

          Open your mac activity monitor. It is the equivalent of Windows task manager.

          Stop the f.lux process and try uninstalling.

          Then restart.
          Reinstall f.lux and make sure you move it to the applications folder.

          Enjoy.

            Hi Gregory - the icon you're clicking sounds like the installer. Check to the left of your system clock for the f.lux settings pulldown menu. It's totally compatible with Yosemite so once you find that icon you should be all set.

              Just a feedback that the drop down menu is working but when I click on preferences it doesn't show up. Im on Yosemite also.

              I have to quit flux and launch again so that preferences window will open.

                I have the same problem.
                I should be solved by F.LUX TEAM.

                  Have you tried restarting the computer, or does this still occur?
