f.lux beta 39.9

Hi everyone - this is now the main download.

It has a bunch of internal changes, and also:

• Prompts when you change timezones
• A "far from the equator" preset for northerly latitudes
• A curve indicating when you're likely to be sensitive to light
• Dark mode is back
• Better transition timing
• 39.8 fixes a crash
• 39.92-93 fix some issues with touchbar mac
• 39.94 fixes an issue with Darkroom on 10.12.4

For those who care, we finally moved to ARC and had to cleanup some resulting crashes. Think we got 'em.

Yay, the return of Dark Mode! I just discovered last night that Dark Mode is easily AppleScriptable, so expected it to be easy to implement in f.lux.

Super Nice ! At least this program is again back with the dark mode. I was previously on 37.8 and now even if it's a beta i'm happy ^^

Nice to see f.lux updated! Dark mode was truly missed.
However, it crashes every time I change focus to an app for which f.lux is disabled (f.lux > Disable > App Name). Brightness/temperature flickering sometimes happens, too.
Otherwise, pretty solid.

Yes, I’m sure I’m using 39.7

It crashes once I change focus to Plex Media Player (I hope this type of hotlinking is ok).

Seeing frequent crashes when returning from sleep on Macbook 12" with El Capitain. I have crash logs, but don't see a way to attach them here?

Tiny detail, but on 39.8 beta running on OS X 10.9.5, there is an extra section in the menu that shouldn't be there.

Not a bug, but any consideration for making the "About" and "Preferences" windows non-floating (able to lose focus and be covered by other windows)? Also, any thoughts about making the "About" window a more standard OS X window in this style? Otherwise, 39.9 is more reliable on MBP 11,3 OS X 10.9.5.
