Continue to see the strobe as well. Very frustrating, especially since I donated money to flux. Hope this gets fixed soon so I don't have to continue to disable it.

f.lux is running when stuck in "daylight" mode after sunset. I can pull up the preferences and change them. That's how I exit f.lux.

I can't say if f.lux works sometimes, because I don't remember the last time I was working on my computer at sunset, but I can check.

Question: Can f.lux be affected by Windows' screen saver and/or power management settings? I can't get the display (Dell E173FPc, correct driver installed) to turn off when the computer is idle. The power button flashes orange (display off) then turns green again and the display shows the mouse cursor on a black background. (This is a problem I hope to take care of in the near future.)

There were some pretty big problems with the Fall Creators update, so we did a workaround that has this problem. I hope to be able to fix it with the next Windows release.

This may be related to the workaround we had to ship for Fall Creators. Also are you using any USB-connected monitors?

I have this exact same problem -- I actually came here to see if anyone else knew why it keeps happening and had some idea of a solution.

Yes, as I said 25 days ago, it's Windows Night Light.

If someone else lands here:
The issue seems to come from a conflict with MSI true color.
Ctrl + 1 change the settings from MSI TC and that resets flux as a result.

I tried to make it do the TEK 4014 flashing thing but didn't figure out a way. :)
