I recently upgraded my mac bk pro OS Lion and I guess flux upgraded with El Capitan or would have upgraded anyhow. But anyway it switched to grayscale without me asking and won't restore the settings I had previously, which worked fine. It's a real issue since I'm a photographer working with color scales on a regular basis. I've followed advice online and uninstalled and rebooted but nothing changed AT ALL. I'm very disappointed in in this app and as you can imagine very frustrated .

This can happen if you use Darkroom mode. If f.lux doesn't fix it for you (it should) you can toggle it in System Preferences > Accessibility >Display >Use Grayscale
