change light color without dimming?

Is there any way I can have flux change the temperature of the light coming from my screen without dimming the screen? I've got terrible eyesight and especially at night, if I'm not wearing my glasses, I'll have the brightness on my screen all the way up but it's still far to dim. I find I'm squinting more with flux on (and subsequently dimming the brightness) than I would with flux off.
