Purple flickering after open the lid

El Captain user here on MacBook Retina 15" (Late 2013).
Sometimes after open the lid of my MacBook the screen start flickering with purple-pink artifacts. If I uninstall f.lux the issue not appear anymore? f.lux is very important to me but I don't want to brick my laptop.
Not sure if is the weel known automatic brightness issue, seems something different.Any help?

@grotto Do you know if you have more than one GPU / graphics output device? If you are not sure, have a try with https://gfx.io/ and see if that helps.
