Cold brewed coffee
-
Hey, Lorna you put it in the holiday gift post and that has nothing to do with sleep, so I guess you won't mind me making a post about it.
It's been on my brain for a few days and it's finally piqued my interest. I'd like to know where to start and what you recommend to make the process easy.

If you get the Filtron cold brew kit, and a pound of beans (get ground up ones if you haven't got a grinder), just follow instructions on label, set a timer on your phone for when to pour it out. Cut 50/50 with milk or water and serve over ice, because it is STRONG.
Could not be easier. -
@lorna Awesome, I'll try that!
-
@lorna What beans would you recommend? I think something with a slightly sweet taste would be preferable but not like a vanilla. Just something where I won't need to add much sugar.
-
We usually use Major Dickasons from Peets.
-
@lorna cool, I'll start there.

This should help you, somewhat! -
@GetzTheGoldfish I've seen that, great video! Thank you for reminding me, it's so simple, and it's cheaper.
-
Sorry for my ignorance but why is there a preference for cold brewed?
-
@mbjerggaard I don't know, some people like it better.

@mbjerggaard Cold brew is a smooth finish without bitterness. It's like iced tea and hot tea, no requirement to choose just one. I personally really like both.
