RGB LED strip lights

I have a strip of RGB LED lights running around the walls of my bedroom and would love to be able to control them with f.lux.
It's a simple non-addressable strip with 4 inputs (RGB and +V). I was thinking that I could hook the strip up to a Raspberry Pi (maybe the new tiny and super cheap Zero). Is there a way to get f.lux to control the string?
It may be a stupid question but I have to ask!
