reduce eyestrain mode

I understand that the reduce eyestrain mode has a different K then recommended colors. I don't get how that affects your eye or sleeping. What does reduce eyestrain mode do differently then recommended colors. Is reduce eyestrain mode worse for sleeping.

@PerryLi if you dim the screen a lot, this should be just fine for sleep.
f.lux's defaults are set to do a lot more for people with big bright screens (like desktops).
