not working on 2 monitors

I have been using flux for a while and recently added a new monitor. I have noticed it works on my primary display but not on secondary display. Is there a setting I am missing? Or is this by design?

@duskdevilza usually this is due to a USB connected monitor (which does not have full color controls). Sometimes these notes can help:
