      Hi,

'use dark mode at sunset' only changes the app mode to dark but leaves the windows mode at light. Is this a bug? I would really like to change it completely to dark and then all back to 'light' in the morning.

In the search I found a suggestion to set a registry key to enforce it, but this did not make any difference:

      Thanks for any help!

@dave89234 I recall forcing the windows taskbar to "light mode" during the day looked really bad to me when we shipped the feature, so we only flipped the "app mode" and left the taskbar setting to manual control. (App mode is usually a majority of the screen, like this is the best way to turn white webpages black when a website supports it).

Definitely "SystemThemeSwitch" linked above is implemented, but perhaps it is not working?

All good! I made a silly typo in regedit and only realized it today. The "SystemThemeSwitch" key does indeed work. Very happy now. Thanks for your reply.

Sorry for reopening this and I am not even sure there is anything you could do on your end.

With the registry flag it does indeed change the Windows theme as well, at least according to the setting ("Personalise" - "Colors" - "Chose your mode") Flux changes it completely to 'light' and 'dark' respectively, but the issue is that the setting is not actually applied for the Windows part, only for the app part.

Hope this makes sense. I.e. the apps are correctly changing colors automatically, but things like the Windows task bar will still display the earlier setting, even though the setting value is changed in Windows.

I understand that this is likely some type of Windows bug in how it manages the transition and not something you could fix on your end, but still thought I mention it to have it at least documented.
