Blue-sky feature request: disable f.lux on video

I most commonly disable f.lux when I'm viewing video. Right now, I have a little button to open Safari pages in Chrome. Since I have f.lux set to disable on Chrome, I press the button whenever I have video, and I watch a lot of online video, especially at night. (I also disable f.lux for VLC).
It would be fun if it could just do this automatically, which seems impossible, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Does the community have any tips on how they deal with this?
