WindowServer usage spikes to 50+ percent when flux is in use with external monitor

WindowServer process utilization is at 50 percent when flux is in use with external monitor plugged in (while iddling). When flux is in use without external monitor the WindowServer process is less than 20 percent. While external monitor is plugged in without flux the WindowServer usage is less than 5 percent while iddling.
