I work odd/ varying hours yet love the brightness slider and color temp such as ingenious. However, the daily automatic screen scheduler is irritatingly rigid, as I must manually adjust it on the go to match an ever changing schedule. As such, I request an override mode in which the brightness slider would be independent of the daily timer. Again, Thanks for such a brilliant solution!

Not so brilliant if it doesn't include a basic feature that has been requested for years and years. I'm pretty sure the developer just wants us to bugger off, and no, you won't be seeing manual buttons anytime soon. Probably never.
There's other choices out there now, mostly because people have encountered so many limitations with f.lux and decided to write their own.
