leave my appearance setting alone for dark mode

I have dark mode turned on as the default; I don't want it turned off ever. f.lux allows for greater red shift, so I still want to use f.lux rather than apple 'night shift'
So please honor the dark mode settings, if it is not set to auto, f.lux should not be changing dark/light mode.
I believe I have donated in the past through my work account, I will look to adding to that in the future, once I am allotted funds.

Yes, you should turn off the f.lux feature that switches it then. (See Color Effects).
