Now that the icon is there, I can't click and open it.

I see a lot of old comments about not being able to open i.flux. When I installed and put it up at the top of my Mac, I could click on it and open it. Now I can't do it even if I restart. I have El Capitan 10.11.6. I was able to set it all up and open the dialogue box initially but never after that.
