f.lux stopped working when I restarted my computer

I restarted my computer and f.lux stopped working. When this happened, I uninstalled the app from my computer and had a lot of trouble getting it to reinstall- the download link wouldn't work for me at first. I finally got it to reinstall and it is not working anymore, my screen color never changes at nighttime and when I preview the other modes in preferences, that doesn't alter the screen color either.
