Search for "blue LED light strips": https://classic.startpage.com/do/search?hmb=1&cat=web&cmd=process_search&language=english&engine0=v1all&query=blue+LED+light+strips&abp=1

        Yeah...

I've seen a youtube video (I hope I find it later) about LED lighting, and it was aqua as well, and I could run it on four (rechargable only, that's my policy) AA batteries. I think that's truly amazing, and I hope I find it, it's just that you actually have to solder some ... wires together, and then lay copper over them. I just don't want to do all that. Why can't they just do all that for me and tack on 5-10$ for the time? Really, I know how wires work and all, but I really don't want to do that.

Why do you have to do that?

It's the end of the LED strip and they show you exactly how to connect it to a "power source" or power adapter, being 2 or 4 in some models AA batteries, and maybe 120 volts, I'm not sure. The strip doesn't come with the power source, so they show you how to solder it on, and connect it to the light strip.

I'll look for the video tomorrow, I've got a paper to type tonight.

                You'll see the entire process!

I probably won't get that, and I'll go with led rope:

I like the one on the far right,

"Rastafari!" haha, couldn't help. I think there is a cheaper option though, you may want to look around a bit more, I'll do the same.

@f-lux-team I would like to know, would it be O.K. if I run Incandescent blue (I hate blue LEDs, they are way too strong, I hope we fix that in the future), rope lighting in my room, of maybe 30 or so feet, would that be fine for relaxing lighting if I dim it a dim (I have 2 lutron lamp dimmers, they are wonderful).

I'd guess the lights in the rope have to be near 2300K because they only use 4 watts per foot, so it's got to be a very very warm white, maybe close to candle levels. Here's the product, from a wonderful website you may like a lot:

I want the Incandescent rope retail, but if you look at the pictures, I don't think they are accurate for that style. The big spools seem to be much more realistic.

There's a flicker in the LED ropes I bought. Cool white and orange, the former being a lot more infuriating.

The blue Incandescent is nice though, more like aqua/green. Should I discuss the flicker with the company? My Ben Q monitor doesn't have this issue nor do good quality LED bulbs etc.
