f.lux keeps randomly turning off then back on.

I am seeing some very strange behavior after what appears to have been an update. f.lux will randomly turn off then turn back on again. Sometimes with no visible provocation. If I plug in any devices at all (USB device, headset, even my charger to my laptop) it will shut off then turn back on. If I double-click on the desktop while it's off the filter will turn back on. But only if I double click on my desktop. Otherwise, it will come back on its own after an arbitrary amount of time. Usually less than minute.
