      Hello,
I think I updated my location when I moved from Europe to New Zealand. Now I am in India and my Mac still thinks I am somewhere else. It would help a lot, if you could make your software easier and just orient yourself by the time setting of the macbook, then I only have to change one clock and not two ... (you can still keep this other option if you want, but just as an alternative).
I tried to update my location several times now, but he doesn't even find Delhi ...
It is quite annoying. And because I am not able just to set a time frame for f.lux to be enabled, I can't really use it at the moment.
And you should add the option: Disable: until switched on again
      Please help, thank you
      Grit

Copy/paste your geographical coordinates from Google Maps (latitude and longitude).

If the automatic location doesn't work, you can also type a location name by hand.

Just noticed, that normal keyboard shortcuts don't work (command + C).
For everybody: you have to right click to paste the copied numbers.
I can type in anything, but it won't be used for the tool.
Even the longitude/latitude is just looking nice, he still thinks, that it is night where I am.
Please, it would be so easy, if you could orient by the system time ... :)

F.lux needs to know your location so that it knows what time the sunrise and sunset is where you live. Going by system time or your system's set time zone wouldn't work.

Anyway, Ctrl+C is copy, Ctrl+V is paste (and Ctrl+X is cut, just in case you'd like to know).

                  Ok, understand.

But you didn't understand my problem.
Now it seems to be updated, but I have no idea how it happened.
Searching for cities didn't work and there was no visible approval of latitude/longitude when I entered it.

I just want to help, to improve the software ... I am from the business ... as well software testing and writing of manuals as the development of software concepts.

And for better mac support: Mac is "COMMAND + C" or "+V" not "Ctrl" as mentioned.
And second: please test your own software, pasting via keyboard doesn't work on Mac (MacOS 10.12.6), neither "Command + V" nor "Ctrl + V". Only "right click --> Paste" worked.

@Grit-Reh thanks for this - I hadn't realized that copy/paste didn't work there. Have logged it to our bug database and we will fix it in an update.
