After i updated to the latest version which was like a week ago the app started to just act crazy. Sometimes it turns off, and it can't be set as yellow as i want it during daytime, and it forgets settings, and became kinda buggy! I would like to rollback!

Hmm, can you tell me more about your operating system version and what exactly you want to get f.lux to do?

I'm facing strange behaviour as well: for example, I click "disable for an hour" in the evening, the screen goes back to normal colors, and suddenly it just flips back to the "dimmed" settings, long before the hour has passed and without any transition. I then disable the "disable for an hour" option, then it flips back to regular color settings. OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 in my case.

Okay so it sounds like something is causing the f.lux settings to load in the middle of the "disable for an hour" timing? (Most of the newer problems like this are due to dual-GPU machines that switch between two video cards.)

            1. Which hardware are you using?
            2. If you have two GPUs (Macbook pro?), can you check if you have a "f.lux profile" in Systems Preferences->Displays->Color? It should be de-selected a few seconds after you disable f.lux.

              Hi :)

              1. I have the 15'' MBP (early 2014), Intel Iris Pro + NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M. Automatic GPU switching is disabled because it made the system freeze from time to time.
              2. I have a total of 4 f.lux profiles in the color settings. One matches the internal screen, which I'm using most of the time. The others probably belong to external screens that were connected at some time in the past? Should I delete those profiles / will they be recreated afterwards?

I'm having a lot of trouble repeating these problems. Can you post with the settings you're using, like wake time, f.lux settings and options you're using, and also any other particulars, like what programs you're using?

Sure. Wake time 8 o'clock, no special settings otherwise; the last time it happened I had Firefox 40.0.3 and Atom 1.0.7 running. Will keep you posted on specific circumstances. Is there any way to get a debug log or other additional information?

I've decided to uninstall for the time being, because the color profile jumps distract me a lot. I'll reinstall and retry as soon as El Capitan is officially released and as soon as I've updated :)

@rspielmann thanks - I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. I will do some additional testing and see what I can come up with.
