After the update to this version, less than half an hour ago, my sunset time is wrong: f.lux says it was 4 hours ago, when in fact it was more like 10 hours ago. Isn"t this going to throw off the timing of the color changes?

Were you prompted for a new location after the update?
Can you check:
- that your location looks OK
- that this page says a small number? https://justgetflux.com/timesync.html

No, I wasn't prompted for a new location. The location was in fact off, however, by c. 10 degrees of latitude – I'm at 48.88 and it put me at 38.something – so I hit location and it now has me at more or less right. But that has not changed the sunset time.
