@saimon yes you should turn off the f.lux setting that switches and use your system preferences to do it instead. We are built on top of those settings.

@herf the problem is not back yet. I'll leave f.lux on tonight to see what happens.

@captainreynolds same here bud, I Uninstalled the app and then still stuck with the shortcut keys for the brightness control, Its making me crazy
Yes if you pick any other preset, it will take you out of this. Also there is a "Classic f.lux" menu that you can uncheck to do it by hand.
@fnhanks yes that's right. The only detail is: whenever you re-calibrate the screen, make sure to quit f.lux first and reload it after.
