@herf said in v41.9 beta - New Macbook Pro (MiniLED) turns Cyan with Monterey 12.0.1, and 12.1b3 has overflow artifacts on M1:

      defaults write org.herf.Flux montereyswizzle 1

This fixed the Cyan issue for me. Darkroom on MBP M1 Max doesn't work

I've been using flux for years now and after switching to new MBP 16" with M1 Pro it doesn't work anymore. I tried with installing version 41.9 but the colours are more green then red as they used to be on my old MPB 15" (mid 2015).
I tried turning off dark mode theme but this didn't help...

Does anybody have some suggestion on how to make this work again?

@sinalco54 you are in the right thread - try scrolling all the way to the top and see if the workaround - works?

We had hoped this would be fixed within weeks by Apple, but it seems to be staying around - so we may have to add a menu item for it...

@herf I downloaded the latest version v41.9 from the link that you supplied and updated my macOS to 12.1 but still no luck. Flux works fine on my external display (DELL U2414H) but the built in one is still the same (colors are green and not red like they used to be). Is there any way I can help you debug this?

@sinalco54 please note it only works if you enter the terminal commands at the top of the thread... we had expected a fix in macOS by now so haven't added a menu item for it. (But may have to still.)

Another thanks for this workaround! Flux 41.5 was still green-tinted on macOS 12.2; Flux 41.9 with montereyswizzle 1 looks normal at both sunset and bedtime temperatures.

Joined here just to say the swizzle is the shiz! :) 41.9 + the montereyswizzle (sounds like a mixed drink :) pref update worked great here. (I have a MBP 14" 2021 + v12.2.1).

Beautiful amber now, no more cold cyan. Thanks!

                    Macbook Pro 16" running Monterey:

There isn't a menu bar icon for f.lux. I don't know if it has something to do with the weirdo camera position on this machine or what.

How do I get to the preferences of f.lux??? I launch it, it works (using the swizzle fix) but I can't adjust anything. Nor is it present like a normally running app, which is to be expected. Except for the lack of presence in the menu bar...

                    Thanks!

Cyan returned with macOS v12.3, hence deleting montereyswizzle helped:

                      defaults delete org.herf.Flux montereyswizzle

Just updated to MacOS 12.6.1 but had this problem before; applied the fix and removed it via your instructions and voila -- everything works!
