      4.118 works but on this PC "always use internal color table" has to be selected. However at 9PM every night, the display goes from dim to full bright. Alt-PgDn briefly dims it, and half a second later it goes full bright again. This fight between Win and f.lux goes on until 9:20 and then f.lux resumes working, in control of the display again.

        Turn off Windows Night Light.

          Hi buddy, by default your night mode is turned on so this is happening. Simply turn it off and you are good to go.

              And a correction to my first post, in case anyone else reads this. The conflict only goes from 9:00PM to 9:02PM (not 9:20)
