Color changes when watching Netflix with subtitles

When watching Netflix with subtitles on, the screen changes color.
When I watch Netflix without subtitles enabled, the color seems fine. When I enable subtitles, and when the subtitles are on the screen, it is warm just like when I am watching it without subtitles. However, when the subtitles go away, such as if no one is speaking at that moment, the screen cuts to a very cool, almost blue color and washes out everything. It is really hard to stay focused on the story when the screen keeps flipping from red to blue.
This happens during the day, during the night. I've tried all the various options in flux to even it out, and nothing has worked.
