To test beta versions...
-
Thanks, useful option indeed. :)
-
@scoenta the beta had over 200,000 people in it, so we thought it should not be a beta. Kinda scary to roll updates to that many machines at once!
-
At least for me, latest beta versions are working flawlessly for me. Furthermore, minor updates of current own version (4.4x), stability enhancements fixes, performance features and any kind of bug fixes surely will be welcome, because they are usually safer than upgrades. However, unexpected behaviour could be solved with a roll back system or offering previous version at a history of download versions. As I said, this software works great for me. :)

Thanks - I'll say I've gotten lucky then! But usually we would like to test in a smaller group for a few days before rolling to that many people, just in case.

Yes, you're right. I have enable "update automatically" from options too. Big thanks and please keep on with this good work! :)

f.lux is great but can you guys add an option to change the light for each individual monitor if we are using more than 1 instead of both? Thanks

hi, what about ones that use the Store app? : D

I was wondering the same thing about people who installed from the Windows 10 Store

Am i In the beta list now? why use cross sign instead of right sign?
-
Yes, you will get Beta versions now.
What's the "right" sign? It's his program, so I think he can do whatever he wants with it. The 'X' seems fine and clear and straight forward.

@Christopher-Patrick actually the windows store version is not in our beta - we just can't update it fast enough when there's a problem. Will make a note to take it out of that version.

I just want to point out that v4 is under promoted. There's no mention of it on the homepage. I've been using v3 for months now, chaffing due to the lack of exactly the features found in v4.
The only thing missing is complete control over the schedule and triggered transitions. Native support for TP-Link bulbs would be nice, but the point of this post is that the existence of v4 isn't obvious. :)
Love the software and some of its UX. I only wish it gave me more control.
