"Use Dark mode at sunset" doesn't fully change Explorer's theme

Hello! I'm running into an issue with the "use dark mode at sunset" option. When f.lux flips the system from light mode to dark mode, Windows Explorer doesn't fully make the change - some parts of the app remain in light more while others flip to dark mode (some pinned items censored for privacy):

Whenever this happens, the only way I can fix it is by either rebooting Explorer or manually toggling the app theme mode in Settings. Either workaround is annoying, unfortunately.

I've installed Auto Dark Mode in the mean time since their theme toggling code doesn't seem to have this issue - maybe their code is worth referencing. Thanks!
