Disable automatic light change?

I haven't found a way to disable the automatic color change, I don't want nor need the color to automatically change, I change it manually based on my own needs and preferences, nor do I ever want it to automatically change color. It seems like there is no way to completely disable this feature, as the long time I've used this program there are always times when it will start to change color on its own. I do not want the color to change automatically, and having a transition that cannot be disabled is another gross overreach of control by the application. I love the application but when I open my computer and turn on flux and it starts to change on its own on a seemingly inconsistent pattern makes me want to drive a fist through my computer. If there is a solution, please help, thank you. If not, if a different program that won't automatically control my computer's setting that I tailor for my eyes could be recommended, that would be greatly appreciated.
