      Hello there,

      I have been using flux for quite some time and I think its great. The main function I use is 'Reduce Eyestrain'.
      I don't really like the circadian response. Is there a way for me to disable circadian response only?

      I just want the reduce eyestrain feature and nothing else. Also, just to mention, the disable for full screen apps does not appear to work either.

      Thanks

        @duskdevilza which fullscreen app are you having trouble with?

        the circadian response readout is only informational, so you can safely ignore it.

          Its when time goes by and the screen goes darker as it gets later at night. I would like to turn that off if possible the reduce eyestrain stays working and screen doesnt get darker over time.

            @duskdevilza you can use the "classic f.lux" preset and then adjust the nighttime setting.

              @herf

              If I use classic flux, the reduce eyestrain goes away.
              All I am looking for is constant eyestrain reduction without any other monitor effects regardless of what time of day it is.

              unless classic flux does eyestrain reduction already? is that the case?

              thanks

                @duskdevilza you can just adjust the slider to look how you like - it is usually better to do this because your lighting may be different than ours.

                  I have created a Windhawk mod for this purpose. This mod adjusts the Windows API for f.lux in such a way that f.lux thinks the time is always same, therefore not changing the colour automatically.

                  You can get it here: https://windhawk.net/mods/maintain-flux-colour-temperature
