Disable for portion of screen / select windows only

Since f.lux is just an overlay, I assume it's possible to control what parts of the screen are and are not affected. If that's the case, it would be nice to be able to disable it over certain applications, so I could have a video playing undimmed and with normal colors but have everything else I'm doing dimmed and yellowed. It would be ideal to have it automatically adjust to the size of the program's window, but if that's not possible or too difficult it could be set manually.
