Screen display looks weird?

Sorry I don't know how to explain this well, but as the color on my screen changes when it becomes darker, the display messes up a bit and in particular on images. This didn't occur on my other laptop, so I don't know what's wrong. Also, I'm terrible at explaining so here are some pictures to show what I mean.
