Colours flickering between day and night settings

The colours on my screen would flicker between the blue day setting and the orangey nighttime setting. This seems to occur every day for a while now around the end of my sunset time. Not sure what the problem is, any idea?

Same thing has been happening to me, intermittently, for months.

Disable Microsoft Night Light.

You should go to System Preferences — Screen, and turn off all Night Shift options.
After that, make sure you download the latest version of f.lux.
