keeps disabling for fullscreen apps

So every few days I open mail or somethīng, and get hit with a blast of white / blue light. So I go to f.lux, and 'disable for fullscreen apps' is ticked, again. I untick it and a few days later, same thing happens.
I know I'm not accidentally turning it on - the only time I go into the settings is to do this- does thins happen to anyone else?

I have this exact same problem -- I actually came here to see if anyone else knew why it keeps happening and had some idea of a solution.
