Flashing on and off for minutes at a time.

With the latest version every few hours Flux will start flashing on and off rapidly for a couple of minutes. The solution seems to be restarting windows explorer in task manager but that's not possible while I'm gaming and it's extremely distracting when I'm gaming xD
Any ideas what's causing this? I'm not sure if it's my new computer or Flux but it only started a couple of weeks ago and I've had the new computer coming on 2 months.
